The DeWalt DC011 Combination Worksite Radio and 7.2-Volt to 18-Volt Pod Style Battery Charger is indeed a unique product. As all DeWalt products this is another quality product. I am a site engineer by profession and I love gadgets. This radio does have great sound and enough range to handle most job sites.
It looks great and sounds even better, even above the din of nailers, compressors and saws. It is indeed a durable and constructed with hi-tech design functions. This product is very versatile and features AM/FM radio with a digital tuner, and an auxiliary port which lets you plug in a CD player. It's tough enough for the jobsite, too, wearing a rugged, high-impact roll cage, steel speaker grills, and weather-resistant body.
The only problem with this product is that if you leave the unit unplugged for more than fifty hours, with the radio off it will discharge the Dewalt battery. Well there is room for improvement otherwise I would recommend this product.
